Associate Member (Assoc. AIA)
Associate membership is open to individuals who meet one of the following criteria.

Professional degree in architecture (Recent graduate information)

Currently work under the supervision of an architect

Currently enrolled in the Architectural Experience Program (AXP) and working toward licensure

Faculty member in a university program in architecture

Architect Member (AIA)
Individuals with an architectural license from a U.S. licensing authority are eligible for Architect membership.

International Membership
Individuals who are licensed to practice architecture in a country other than the United States are eligible to become international associate AIA members.

Local Allied Membership
Allied membership in the state association of AIA Wyoming is available to individuals who share or would like to extend their professional relationships with architects and the profession of architecture. Membership is open to engineers, planners, landscape architects, product & technology representatives, manufacturing industry, artists, and those in government, education, journalism, and other fields allied to architecture. Individuals must not be otherwise eligible for membership in the National Institute.
Unassigned Membership
Unassigned membership in AIA Wyoming is available to any Architect or Associate member with current membership in good standing in an assigned chapter of the American Institute of Architects, as per the bylaws of AIA Wyoming. Participation in this category of membership is voluntary and provides benefits for the state component of AIA Wyoming membership only and is supplemental to the members assigned chapter membership.
